Unflavored and grit free powder dissolves in any beverage. Available without a prescription for adults and children ages 17 years and older. Sugar free and gluten free. Ask a doctor before use if you have: nausea, vomiting or abdominal pain; a sudden change in bowel habits that lasts over 2 weeks; irritable bowel syndrome. Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you are taking a prescription drug. When using this product you may have loose, watery, more frequent stools. Stop use and ask a doctor if: you have rectal bleeding or your nausea, bloating, cramping or abdominal pain gets worse. These may be signs of a serious condition; you get diarrhea; you need to use a laxative for longer than 1 week. If pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a health professional before use. Gentle, effective. Easy to adjust amount of the dose to just enough for a predictable effect specific to the individual. A half dose/cap might be enough. It works by pulling water into the intestine which softens stool. Easy to use. Mix well in any 8 oz of water, juice, tea, or coffee, and also stay hydrated. Can help keep things soft to ease a flare-up of a hemorrhoid or fissure. Same as Miralax. You may have used it as a prep for colonoscopy, but at normal, lower doses it acts as a regular gentle laxative or stool softener.

What do I like? there is no taste, It dissolves easily, provides the necessary relief, what I don't like: I find holding the container a bit uncomfortable due to its shape, and I need to be extremely careful, when filling the cap because it flows out so quickly its easy to over fill or even spill on the counter. If it had an insert in the top of the bottle that another named brand uses it would alleviate this problem because it would slow down the flow . As far as does it do what it is stated it will do? Yes. I recommend it
