Gloves have Velcro wrist closure

I haven't worn these gloves yet but have tried them on and they feel good. I'm mad that they have Velcro wrist closures though. Previous experience with another brand of gloves is that Velcro does not hold up in the washer, and I wash my gloves after EVERY gym session. I read description on website thoroughly before ordering to ensure that I was buying gloves without Velcro but after they came, I found that the non-palm side of gloves has a strap closure that isn't obvious in any of the three photos.
