Surprising Performance

These were purchased for the covered porch at our cottage. I had been looking at name brand speakers but was having a hard time justifying the cost given the limited use they would receive. Based upon the price I paid for the OSD's, I was not expecting much at all but was pleasantly surprised by their performance/sound at low to moderate listening levels (have not cranked them up). In fact, I'm going to order a pair for my home patio. The only minor complaint I would have is that the mounting braket is fairly flimsy but unless you're planning on hanging from them, they should be adequate.

Great Dharma Speaker

using these actually indoors with a PA system in a Dharma Center. They work great and sound really clear. they are able to go really loud. I like the way they look mounted on the walls. A great Value for such a high wattage speaker.

great deal for the price

I've used radio shack patio speakers for years, with great success, but when they finally blew-out, I decided to try these guys. They are actually a little bigger than the Radio Shack ones and sound great. One slight problem was the brackets that hold them in a horizontal position wouldn't hold them at the angle I wanted,(they kept slipping down),so I simply put a rubber washer behind the tightening knobs on both sides. Other than that, they sound great, and will handle 100-plus watts very well--so its "party time" once again out by the pool!!!
