Accesspeed is excited to offer Wilwood’s racing big brake kit for the Talon 1000 UTV. Wilwood’s rear UTV Race brake kit feature dynamically-mounted rotors and upgraded calipers for popular side-by-side machines. These Race Brake Kits combine fixed-mount multi-piston calipers for greater clamping force, high-friction brake pads, and large-diameter floating rotors for more brake torque to improve braking on higher-powered UTVs. Forged aluminum differential-bore UTV4 calipers reduce deflection and provide more uniform engagement to increase braking force and improve feel. Durable steel rotors are up to 20% greater in diameter and thicker for less distortion. Dynamically mounted rotors reduce thermal stress and prevent piston knockback from rough terrain. Wilwood’s specially formulated Hi-Temp° 570 Racing Brake Fluid has a minimum 570° F dry boiling point to withstand the severe heat requirements of automotive racing. Hi-Temp° 570’s low viscosity allows easy bleeding of your brake system, eliminating aeration of the brake fluid caused by foaming due to excessive pumping of the pedal. Hi-Temp° 570 comes in convenient 12-ounce containers hermetically sealed to guarantee against unwanted absorption of moisture which can drastically lower the fluids boiling point (fluid from larger containers tends to become contaminated with moisture, lowering its boiling point and making it unsuitable for racing applications).
