Color Changing Egg

The egg itself and the colors it produces are actually quite pleasing. Transitions from one color to the next (about every 5 seconds) is gradual and gradient and vert pleasant.< br />< br />Unfortunately, the "color lock" button on the bottom does absolutely nothing. So the egg I received can never be set to stay one color.< br />< br />Seems like 50% of anything I order online nowadays doesn't work as advertised. Made in China.

I waited to write this review until the item(s) had been given. The one "egg" was perfect and lived up to full expectation. The other "egg" turned out to be damaged. Once back home with the grandkids the little plastic door covering the batteries fell off because the tiny screw securing the door was broken off. No way to retrieve the other part of the broken screw still embedded in the "egg." Unfortunately the batteries fell out unnoticed but very luckily the 3 year old didn't find those batteries first. My daughter threw the defective "egg" away and did not take photos of the damage. Those color-changing eggs were such a big hit! But having the screw fall out because it was broken and batteries being on the floor - well, that could've been a tragedy. Near-miss!
