I had to get a low dose, due to my current high calcium level. Once I have surgery I will go up to 5000 ui a day instead of this very low dose. It's too low for most people. Make sure you take vitamin K2 and magnesium with it to work properly. Also, it is a FAT soluble hormone. Take it with fat or it won't work properly. Eat healthy with it (animal fat or olive or grass- fed butter, for example).
