Screws not aligned correctly, long assembly

This took HOURS to put together and I was plagued by the screw holes not being correctly aligned. It felt very poor quality as I was putting it together and came in a million pieces and a super heavy box. I had to spread assembly out over 3 days to avoid losing my mind. Overall it doesn't have much storage but it looks okay, the light is a nice touch but I was hoping it would seem bigger in person. If you have a partner to help with assembly, then it might be alright but it just did not seem great quality with the way I was struggling to get this together.
