Worked out great!

I bought a cheap kayak that did not come with footrests. I found it rather annoying so I ordered these to install myself. I am 74 years old and if I can do it anyone can. Just measure very carefully and take your time. A bit of silicone caulk after you finish for added security!

Sturdy and not expensive.

Direct replacement for Pelican foot braces. I replaced the fixed foot braces on my Argo 100X for added support. My kayak has two holes that lined up well with the new braces. There is a provision for a third hole for extra support if needed. The braces are sturdy and not expensive. These foot braces would likely work with other kayaks although the holes may not line up requiring the drilling of at least one new hole.
