This Medium Duty Self-Dumping Steel Hopper with Bumper Release automatically dumps when bumper release contacts the side of the dumpster. Hopper returns to an upright and locked position automatically after it dumps. Also includes a cable that may be operated from the seat of the fork truck to manually dump the hopper. The included safety restraint should be properly secrued to a fork truck before dumping. / Length Dimension is measured at top of chute.

Works as advertised

I ordered this product to transport construction debris from the building to the dumpsters where we are building a new hospital. The product arrived as scheduled and was in perfect condition. Bin is very well made using rolled steel and beefy welds. For all kinds of construction trash that includes metal, wood, and drywall- it performs as advertised. Bin size is sufficient. Dumping mechanism is simple and reliable. Ordered this one to see if it worked- now plan on ordering two more. If you've got a forklift on site and a lot of trash and debris to transport, this bin is the ticket.

Great quality, very functional

We bought this dumpster so we don't have to dump our regular bin by hand into our large dumpster anymore. It works great and the self dumping mechanism works flawless as long as the forks are parallel to the ground. Make sure to order the dumpster with the pallet jack add-on unless you can put it EXACTLY where you need it with a forklift / backhoe with forks. We didn't and couldn't move it an inch. The pallet jacket will not move this dumpster the way it arrives. we bolted square tubing (old boat trailer) to the bottom (holes for bolts are already there) and now it's perfect. It saves our backs and looks like it will last forever.
