Originally wanted to buy 2 right away because really liked the look, apparent quality from photos, and the price for my crafts room and son's bedroom. A more sophisticated design and color than usually found at this price point. But started with 1 . Was easy to assemble. Solid chair and parts, not flimsy. Very comfortable for how we use them which is for at most an hour at one time and not a 7-8 hour work day (don't use an "office chair" at my work desk). Hydraulics have worked well when needed. Ended up in my son's room as he could use it right away and then later ordered another for an additional work space because liked it so much. Then my son took his to college, so should really order a couple more. I could spend years looking for a chair I like as well and not find it because office chairs are usually so big, ugly or kidsy that I usually hate them and would prefer to do without rather than have them in my house or are just way to expensive for the use/purpose. Plus the smaller ones tend to be flimsy and go wonky or even break and have to be thrown away. Granted there aren't young children or heavy people giving these a rough time daily, but these chairs are holding up well so far.
