L.A. Candy Sugar and Spice, Book 3, (Hardcover)

I truly enjoyed reading "Sugar and Spice", the third and final book in Lauren Conrad's addictively entertaining and best-selling young-adult series, L.A. Candy. In this book the author exposes what really goes on behind the scenes of a 'reality' show, the fictional "L.A. Candy" based on the hit TV show "The Hills" and in which Lauren Conrad herself starred in. Like Lauren, Jane Roberts quickly found fame for living her life on a reality TV show while working as an intern in L.A. Jane seems to have it all - fame, money, adoring fans. However, not everything is what it seems, her life is far from perfect. She faces several falling-outs with friends and co-stars, tabloid scandals and boy trouble. Just when everything feels out of control, Jane makes a shocking discovery that changes her outlook on Hollywood and 'reality' TV and sets out to take control of her own life. "Sugar and Spice" introduces us to new vivid characters, fun twists and ends with a solid ending. However, the last few chapters feel a little rushed through as the author tries to tie up all the loose ends. It would be nice if there were a fourth installment to the series focusing on Jane and Scarlett's life post "L.A. Candy". While not the best piece of literature, "Sugar and Spice" is a light, fun read that has become my little guilty pleasure.

I enjoyed Lauren's first 2 books, I most defintly enjoyed this one.
