Poodle Springs, (Paperback)

When I read the forward of this book, I just had to have it...... Raymond Chandler died in 1959, leaving behind the first four chapters of a new Philip Marlowe thriller. Decades later, enter Robert B. Parker, he took on the story line, and finished the book .... Poodle Springs... Mr. Parker has a way with his characters, as does Mr. Chandler, and they merged together as a perfect pair in the quest for an entertaining read. In my opinion they succeeded handsomely, I also want to read Mr. Chandler's body of work, as this gave way to an interest through this book. The story itself was so funny, lots of twists and turns, who is doing what to whom, it gets your knickers in a bunch ! If you like stories of this nature, purchase this book, it'll be good for you !!
