1391 Large Double Pedi Perch - Wooden Rough Grit Conditioning Cage Perch

The 1391 Large Double Pedi Perch from M&M Bird Toys is a convenient cage mounting pedi perch with an interesting design. This perch has (2) prongs all completely covered with pedi grid. The perch design has a thick round base with (2) prongs sticking out from it. The perch has a smoothly cut design that looks great in cages. The entire perch is completely covered in a gritty pedi texture. All pet birds have beaks and talons that grow constantly and require continual conditioning. Pedi surfaces allow birds to grind their beaks and talons to the perfect size. This perch can also be chewed apart as its made from natural wood. On the back of the perch there is a thick metal thread core thats been inserted into and affixed in the perch. This thread core has (2) large pan washers that are held against the perch by a wing nut. Using the pan washers and wing nut these parts sandwich cage bars and provide a sturdy installation of the perch. Pedi perches are superb as secondary perches in cages. As a supplement to a regular smooth or wooden perch, pedi perches offer pets a convenient item to help them keep their beaks and talon in trim shape.
