You will never run out of storage with this

I originally got this because I needed an external hard drive to store photos. I now use this for: - Photo storage - In place of Apple cloud - For gaming storage - Old documents I originally was going to get a smaller storage size (1-2 TB), but I like that I don't have to worry about maintaining multiple hard drives in the future as my photo/video library grows. Even with years of photos, gaming storage and more, I still have so much room left on this! It's also easy to use and reliable. Highly recommend to anyone.

Great Backup System

The Seagate One Touch works well for what I need, to back up household and family files, photos, videos. I have both mac and windows machines and it works well for both. It includes password protection and data recovery services. I'm not an IT professional, but this one serves a good purpose.

Works great so far

Upon opening the box containing my new Seagate One Touch I was surprised to see the power supply came with adapters for any power source used around the world. To me this represented the thought that was put into who and where this hardware might be used. After finding the correct adapter for my use, I was quickly able to attach the drive to my desktop via the 3.0 USB port. After I attached the drive, I downloaded and installed the Toolkit software from the Seagate website. This software provides all the function that were needed to secure, backup, restore and mirror your data. The software and the hard drive worked well together allowing me to get the most out of my new hardware. First, I set up a weekly scheduled backup of my important files so that I did not have to remember each week to manually backup this information. Next, I create a mirror folder on my PC sync to my new storage device. This was so that whenever I add, delete, or edit files in one folder, Toolkit automatically updates the other folder with my changes. I have been using my One touch for about 2 weeks with no issues. I am happy with speed of both the writing and reading of information from the drive. I would recommend this drive to anyone looking for some extra space to securely store your information.
