Took a loonngg time to get this, which would have been more helpful had I gotten it sooner because I needed crushed ice cubes for a terminally ill sister. My blender made snow which was not what I needed. But when it did come (too late), it's actually a very handy and simple device. I imagine I might use it more next summer. It seems sturdy enough.

the grinder jams up.so you are constantly moving the handle clockwise ,then counter clockwise to free up the grinder. you can only out one ice cube at a time.
