Sunguard UV Protectant spray helps extend the life of outdoor decor. The strong UV inhibitors protects all types of outdoor decor against fading, peeling and cracking. When dried it has as clear finish, unlike polyurethane products, which will leave a sticky yellowish residue. Unfortunately most garden decor products come directly from manufactures without UV protectant or possibly a light coat which rarely last more than one season. Thus leaving your special investment "exposed" to the harmful elements which cause fading, cracking and peeling. Everyone is now discovering that outdoor decor needs sunscreen too. SunGuard has been designed to work on resin, polyresin, wood, metal, fiberglass, cement, plastics, stone, ceramic, tile, polyester, wicker, etc. It is not to late to protect your patio furniture, collectible figurines, pots, planters, garden statues, wreaths, fountains, birdbaths, bird feeder, yard art, garden gnomes, fairies, holiday inflatables, curtains, wind chimes, stepping stones, spinners, flags, grill covers, auto and boat covers, awnings, tarps, tents, and more. - Easy Spray One Coat Application Coverage: 1 can covers 25 sq. ft. on non-porous surfaces. Most décor pieces will only require one coat. If you feel that you missed any areas simply let dry completely before an additional coat is applied.
- Protectant sealant spray seals and dries to the touch in 15-minutes or less with a clear semi-gloss sealant. No longer do you have to deal with sticky yellowing polyurethanes that ruin your garden treasures.
- Ideally it is recommended to be applied to product immediately upon purchase prior to 'sun burn' damage. Most décor comes with very limited if any UV Sun-Guard protection or sealant. SunGuard is designed to prevent, protect and extend the life of your product. However, SunGuard can also be applied to older items to help bring back some of their original beauty. And most definitely help prevent and sun guard additional damage. Just ensure to properly clean, dust, and in some cases scrape completely free from any dirt, rust, peeling paint, and mold prior to applying the SunGuard UV treatment.
- The manufacture recommends SunGuard be applied twice a year for lasting protection. However, if your product is in direct sun or you live in "year-round sun" then additional quick reapplications are suggested for optimal product life.

Sunguard is an absolute must if you have metal art or lawn furniture. Everything actually that you want to profect from the sun. I spray with Sunguard every few months and everything metal is still looking brand new. I had quite buying outside art, furniture even the outside chair pillows. Few years ago someone told me about this product and i am a huge fan. Walmart has the best price and it came right away. i highly recommend Sunguard.
