Memory foam mattresses are well-suited to this bed.

Sturdy and simple to construct. We adore this bed frame, my wife and I. For ease of transport, every component tucks away in the headboard's back. It also looks fantastic! Its weight is the only negative. I had to take it apart in the courtyard and carry each component upstairs. I heartily endorse this bed frame!
