My color choice was the dark grey . There was no off-gassing odor. I washed it in cold water and dried on low and immediately placed onto bed. It's king sized, and 5.5lbs. dry, so I was worried it would be hard on my top-loading washer, but it wasn't at all. Looks beautiful placed on bed, being used as a bed spread type, since the old white duvet cover is starting to look dingy. It appears as Faux fur and is as soft %26 silky as petting an eagle. Lightweight, so you can take it into the living room for getting cozy or for fitting more people under it during sleepovers! The jacquard styling makes the bed look classy and expensive.
