I've been looking online for a folding screen, either they were too expensive if made of wood, or less expensive, but not as durable as the wooden one. I was so happy to find this at Walmart and the price was excellent. It was about 50$ less than Hobby Lobby and about 20$ less than Target. I love it, it looks great in my bedroom! I might even purchase a couple more, as gifts.

good divider for cats

This divider is nice, tall and dark. The inner panels are not woven but thin wood, much better and less likely to be destroyed by cat-claws. We are using it to keep housecats from a room with no door. Yes, it is zagged and we have coffee-can/doorstop type things holding to the walls, but adult cats are unable to crawl under it. We have a couple of six month old kittens that have managed to skinny under, but a little cardboard on the back side fixed that until they are older. We have thoughts that if this is permanent, we might fasten it to one of the walls in some manner.

Good Looks, Good Value

I like this so much that I bought a second. They have a nice rich color, and dark hinges that blend in. They are not terribly heavy, and not so wide that you can't move them around. With two, you can cover wider areas, or in my case, you can cut off multiple angles. Two of these are still cheaper than one of most competing products. My one qualm is not really the fault of the product. I have hardwood floors that are not uniformly flat. These partitions will work on imperfect floors, but you may need to stick some felt on the feet, or at least a piece of paper under one so that a leaf does not swing just a bit.
