Snow Country Outerwear Womens Plus Extended Size Packable Down Jacket Hooded Coat 1X-6X

I don't usually make a habit of thanking brands for producing good plus size clothes - it really shouldn't be that hard to make clothes for every body - but after looking for so long to find a technical grade, packable, lightweight puffy jacket I really couldn't be more grateful to have this. It's opened up a world of cool/cold weather hiking and backpacking I otherwise wouldn't have access to as a plus size clothing wearer. Light, well made, and warm! I hope to shop more plus size offerings from this company in the future!

This coat has the most comforting, softest feel to it, that I will cover up with it to take a nap on the couch. I kid you not. Snow Country, keep using this material!! I purchased the teal color in a 4X. Overall, it fit pretty good. PROs: *Awesome material *Light weight, yet keeps you warm *Perfect length *Interior pockets CONs: *Needs more room in the upper arms *Front zip pockets need to be positioned to the sides of the coat, rather than the front. I feel like I am having to hold my hands out to the front of me rather than comfortably resting at my sides, in the pockets. *Needs hood strings If the cons would be corrected, I would like to own one in every color.
