Mind Reader Vented 11 x 14.5 x 4.5 Metal Monitor Stand, Silver

The brand name of this monitor stand is Mind Reader. It is all made of metal and is all black. The metal means it will be very durable and last a long time. It is sturdy and not flimsy. It weights 2.86 pounds so it must be able to hold some weight. The ergonomics of the curved legs makes it so it can hold the heavier weight of a monitor or whatever. It keeps the object well balanced. I say that because this can not only be used for a monitor stand. It can also be used as a stand for a printer or a computer. It is so versatile that it can even be used as a lap top riser, a desk shelf or whatever else you need. It has lots of perforated holes on the top. This is to allow the heat to escape. I use mine as a lap top riser and have not found the lap top or the stand to become hot. I'm not sure about a monitor because I don't use it for that reason. It also comes with black rubber feet to protect your desk top surface from scratches. I have an old computer desk so I am not worried about that part of it. The stand is very nice and even looks expensive. It has just the right height to reduce eye and neck strain. The Monitor Stand is 11.33 (W) x 4.21 (H) x 14.88 (L). The only con I have to say is if you are using it as a monitor stand and you have a full size keyboard it will not slide under the stand. My full size keyboard is 17.25". Since I use mine as a laptop riser I use the underneath as a storage space. I put my letter opener, stapler, pens and pencils and even my tv remote control because I watch tv while I'm on my laptop underneath it. It works very well. I REALLY recommend this product.

I was in need of a nice monitor stand to manage better the desk space and to reduce neck strain by raising the monitor to a comfortable height. I was looking to raise the monitor and able to stick some things under it and this stand look to be the best fit I could find. It arrived in a nice box and all you have to do is open it, take the stand form it's plastic bag and it is ready to go. It feels really solid and I'm sore in can hold up to 40 pounds. It has a perforated hole pattern platform that allows passive airflow, perfect to keep a laptop to keep it cool and have it raised at the eyes level. I like the fact that now I can place a keyboard or anything I need under it saving space and keeping my desk space organized, I can't be much happier. I like how study and solid is and because it is made out of one piece is very stable and not wobbly at all. The rubberized feet makes this stand not go anywhere. I may get 2 more for my office. Highly recommitted!
