Opening is easy just pull apart. It makes a great snack on the go or share with your fur baby. I don't recommend giving this product to a child under 5 they could possibly take to big of a bite and get choked but if you tear into bite size pieces and take the outer skin off . Then it should be fine .

My Daughter is a very picky eater went to Walmart one day and she grabbed one of the Jack links and put it on the in the car with the groceries and I saw the lady scanning it and I was like no that's not mine my daughter says said yes please I like the original Jack links whenever I go in or order online I have to make sure I order some cuz that's part of her lunch now when she goes to school. if your child is a picky eater try opening don't have it with one of the Jack Links preferably original to start off.
