It was easy to assemble and looks classy

We use this ladder for holding blankets in our living room and love that it's wider (holds thick blankets more easily) and has a top shelf for holding decor and knickknacks. The wood is smooth, has a good weight to it, and is a rich brown that's a little darker than the "honey" it's described as, which feels high-quality. The only drawback is that the side rails come in three pieces, and the holes are drilled in a way such that it was nearly impossible to align all the pieces properly. We ended up buying four different sets and trying all of the pieces together, and still ended up with one side rail that's slightly crooked. It was only because we loved the functional design and quality wood so much that we were willing to go through the hassle, and I wish the manufacturer would either impose better quality control or make future versions with one-piece side rails. That said, it's a well-designed, beautiful ladder that works well in our space, so I'd recommend it as long as your order comes with side rails that are better aligned!
