I love Voltaren! It has become a staple in my home, purse and car for the last 2 years or more. It doesn't work immediately but rub it in and give it a little time to soak in. You will forget about your pain!! Trust me! I have neck issues, back issues, scoliosis, degenerative back problems, sciatica, bone on bone knee and more.

No More Painful Thumbs! Thank You Voltaren!
I have repetitive strain injury in both of my thumb knuckles (see attached photos). Prior to finding Voltaren I had tried Ben Gay, Blue Emu, and Icy Hot with and without lidocaine, and each one had the same effect on my thumbs as hand lotion. My doctor recommended Voltaren and from the first time I used it, it's been the answer to my prayers! There is a small plastic "Dosing Card" included in the box that shows the amount to apply but for me even the smaller dose was too much. I experimented with smaller amounts over the course of several applications until I found my perfect dose: one tiny little dime-size dab on each thumb. It has a slightly greasy consistency when I first apply it but I keep rubbing it in until it's completely absorbed, and there's never any sticky residue or smell. Some residual ointment will remain on your hands so keep paper towels handy for post-application cleanup.

Alleviates Pain in 5-7 Minutes, But Can Be Costly
Pros: It works in 5-7 minutes to alleviate pain. My Orthopedic doctor recommended that I use it instead of taking pain pills or shots. The pills of course would have to be digested internally before I could get relief. The cream does the same job in 5-7 minutes. I have small tear in my Rotator Cuff and another inflamed arm muscle that can become very painful. The cream takes care of that pain very quickly. I tried a a store brand that was supposed to be equal to it, but it was not near as effective as the Voltaren cream. Cons: Relief last for about four to six hours depending on your level of pain. It works but can be quite costly to continue using it.
