This is one of my granddaughter's favorite stories. The fact that this book has extended pages make kids love this book even mote. The Papa climbing up the very long ladder to the moon and bringing the moon to his daughter, Monica playing and dancing with the moon, and the moon disappearing all together are all intriguing parts of this book. This one is definitely a winner for the pre-k through 2nd grade age group. The Eric Carle illustrations make this book absolutely awesome!

I bought this for my nephews and they absolutely love it! I do not recommend the little ones handle this book on their own. The pullout pictures will rip very easily. The storyline to this book is educational and inspirational. Your kids will love it! I highly recommend this book.
