I was a little skeptical about getting this. not because of it not being a name brand which great value is a name brand. I was hesitant on getting it because I have tried so many different arthritis roll-ons and creams and different things and they just do not even touch the pain in my knees. I have not tried patches but I did get this because Voltaren is quite expensive to get without knowing it works. but I was completely surprised by how good the equate arthritis pain reliever gel really works. and I will continue to use it. I would tell anyone who has arthritic knee pain or any kind of arthritic pain try it it really works. I just continue to rub it into the skin until it's absorbed and rubbing it helps a lot creates that heat friction...

I'm sure this works just as well as brand name since they have the same ingredients. Problem is that I didn't investigate better. My pain is hips and lower back. This rub can be used almost anywhere EXCEPT on hip and back. I put in medicine cabinet for future use. Again, BEWARE. Product (and brand name product) can NOT be used on hips and back.
