Product details
This package includes four 1/4 pound servings of freeze-dried hamburger patties made from 75% lean ground beef. The patties are vacuum packed with added oxygen absorber and desiccant to extend their shelf life. Each serving size is 4oz and the total calories per serving is 330. The hamburger patties are perfect for emergency preparedness, camping, hunting, hiking, and boating. They are USDA inspected and made in the USA to include packaging. Hamburger patties come in a 7 mil tough resealable round corner bag. Just add water to the patties to rehydrate them then cook. The shelf life is 25 years when stored in a cool dry place in a rodent proof container. This freeze dried product is raw and does require cooking after rehydrating. Soak in cool water for at least 10-15 minutes or until patties are moistened and fully reconstituted. Handle patties with care as they may break easily. If there are any hard spots, soak an additional 5-10 minutes. Cook to achieve a minimum of 160 F internal temperature.
