Works well

I have plugged these lights in around the house different places. So if the power goes off, all you have to do is grab one and it's ready to go. If you turn the light switch on and plug it in it will come on when the power goes off. If you leave the light switch off, it will not come on, but be charged and ready when you grab it. They seem to work really well and give off plenty of light to see with. I wish the red LED light that shows it is on would turn green when it was fully charged. But that's a small matter.
