Sturdy but unaligned table top

I like the table design despite the overall assembly which was a challenge. The problem is, the holes drilled, to connect the two, table-top pieces (I guest by the manufacturer) were not measured correctly and left me with an unevenly aligned table. I ordered this item during the holidays and was in desperate need of a table and no time to return it. So I just have to live with it. I'm a little disappointed.
