Ceropegia woodii Silver Glory String of Hearts is a very rare and fantastic plant to add to your "String of Thing" collection, along with String of Spades and String of Needles. This plant features long, trailing heart-shaped leaves in green and silver variegation. Silver Glory String of Hearts has dainty yet strong burgundy stems and it can reach up to 4 feet in length. This plant looks stunning in hanging baskets. It has lantern-shaped pink-purple flowers. Plants may be shipped bare root. Partial sun to partial shade or bright, indirect light. Give this plant 3 to 6 hours of sunlight/indirect light per day but avoid the scorching sun. On the other hand, with too little light, the plant may stretch its leaves outward. This plant is slightly drought-tolerant. Water once every 10-14 days or when the soil is almost dry. Reduce watering in the winter. Well-Drained, Porous potting soil. Optimal temperature: 60 to 80 degrees Fahrenheit. Avoid temperatures below 50 degrees Fahrenheit. This plant should be fertilized once during the growing season (spring/summer)with diluted houseplant fertilizer.
