Fiskars 10" Brush Axe with Safety Sheath - Fixed Handle - Black/Orange

I've used many types of hand blades... Machetes, hook blades, bill hooks, kukris, and numerous others. Many people have a preferred handle type. This is MY favorite blade. My original one still has the FISKARS name in the plastic handle. The only thing changed is the orange portion of the handle and the GERBER name (on the blade). It is perfect for cutting small brush, limbs, and even softwood trees. The forward facing hook helps to grab and throw cut pieces out of the way. The balanced nature of the blade to handle also relieves the pain acquired when swinging a machete for hours. The blade is coated with a non-stick coating, after the initial bit is worn off from the edge, it reveals how incredibly sharp it is. Great for small branches and sturdy brush. I've even lengthened the handle using the handle's eye as a bolt hole. Great Blade at an honest price.
