This product erases pores before your eyes WITHOUT being thick, heavy full coverage makeup that you might use to get the same effect. I was an "under the counter" only makeup wearer for most of my life, starting with Clinique (made for younger) and moving to Estee Lauder whom also makes Clinique and has been around a very long time. My favorite, however, was the Lancomb dual compact that you can wet the sponge fir heavier application or use as a dry finishing application. That particular makeup is still to this day has the best coverage than any other powder by far, and goes on like silk, very light like wearing nothing. However, you're gonna spend a lot for most all under the counter makeup (Clinique is the cheapest). Estae Lauder has the best liquid foundation. Each of these are over $50 each now, but 20-30 years ago the Lancombe was only $32. Anyway my point is that with this liquid, you could add a powder to it (Neutrogena is good), but really just about ANY powder for that matte finish that I like, or without for a more shiny look. So just about the same effect for way less money.
