Stargazer Amaryllis produces a rich red flower with striking white central stars. The blooms are quite eye-catching at 8" across and certainly attract attention. Each bulb produces up to eight blooms--and sometimes more! Each amaryllis comes with detailed blooming instructions for this year and for reblooming in years to come. The pot is wrapped in green foil for gift giving through the season. Place near a well-lit window away from direct heat sources on a protected surface. Upon arrival, water moderately with luke warm water. Water sparringly before buds appear, keeping soil slightly moist. After buds appear water a few times a week, but avoid overwatering. In late summer, stop watering, allow the foilage to wither, and cut the leaves off. Store in a cool, dry place for 6 to 8 weeks, and then move to a well-lit, warm area and resume watering once growth begins. Each offer includes one 26 cm diameter amaryllis bulb planted in a container measuring 6.5" tall and 7" wide.
