It totally does what its made for almost immediately thankfully, because this particular feminine itch is very troublesome and somewhat painful, the smoothness and texture of the cream, its thickish properties keeps it from "running" liquidy off your finger or applicator, and keeps the cream exactly where you want and need it once applied and rubbed on, so it doesn't smear off onto your clothing. Only thing to make the product better would be a larger tube filled totally full, at same price, sadly in today's economy the prices everywhere are going higher while the product amount seems to be getting smaller, even at Wal-Mart, and they have the lowest prices 9 out of 10 times with the same ingredients as the name brand item.
