Its kind of hard to just open a septic tank to check it but I haven't had a y problems. I live in a house with a septic system thats 50 years old. new tank is about 15. the leech beds are 50. the past few years since the new tank, it's been horrid. gas backing up into the house, drains are horrific. nothing works. one of these in the toilet every 2 weeks . GREAT OH MY GOD BUY IT.
