Do make sure you get advice or know something before randomly installing. It's really simple to use for my hunting rifles. I've also paired it with various calibers like a 5.56. I took it out to a range and was quite satisfied with this. I feel like over used it. I put it through a lot in 4 hours of various positions to different calibers. It was very useful to sight in some new scopes for longer range. The legs do need to push in like a kick stand but they are stable.
