The Rift is better than I (Once) thought!

This is my 2nd pair of RIFTS; although I was not convinced with my first pair after 50 miles or so, as I thought the lacing was short 2 eyelets and a padded tongue, just switching out for grippier laces helped tremendously. I was worried that the toebox was too tapered, too, but over time, the insole/midsole bedded in enough that I could maintain toe space, so I bought this 2nd pair (in women's 12) to complement my first men's pair in 10.5 (I just liked this black on black colorway) as a back-up for up to 50k distances and my training runs when I need serious lugs.

Incredible cushion and I love the bounciness. I do feel like it helps improve my gait. I actually started running again after buying these shoes ( I was just trail walking before.). Only con is that they are not easy to get on.
