Floortex® Vinyl Rectangle Chair Mat Carpets up to 1/4" 48" x 60"

I bought two of these things because I have a pretty wide desk and need to be able to roll from end to end. The nice thing about my carpeting it that there is no padding between it and the actual floor. What this means is that these things should last a while (as in years) as opposed to cracking and falling apart within a few months. Take this advice for what you will but know this: These plastic floor mats work well when there is no padding under your carpeting. If you have padding then you might want to look at something else.

This mat has worked wonderful on my low pile rug in my office. It being shipped flat was also aaaaamazing! No need to flatten and we kept the flat cardboard box for art projects with the kids. I've had no issue with my wheels sinking in but I believe that's because I have the right pile carpet for it. They have thicker sizes if you have a thicker carpet or rug.
