The 9” x 45” Chimney Flueblocker is a dense wool pad that seals and insulates a fireplace or wood stove chimney. It fits into the narrow part of the flue just above the firebox and can be used with or without a damper. Putting this chimney flue stopper in place blocks airflow, stopping cold air from entering your home. It also halts the flow of dust and other particles and reduces noises from birds and other outside sources. Made of 100 percent Herdwick wool, the fireplace draft blocker is naturally dense and forms an effective barrier that pressure-fits into the flue opening. It measures 9" x 45" to fit into a 9" x 45" or smaller rectangular flue opening. Put the fireplace draft stopper in place during the warmer months, and then remove it when ready to use it in winter. A pair of long handles makes installation and removal fast and easy.
