OVERVIEW
The BFGoodrich Advantage T/A Sport is a touring, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs. BFGoodrich offers a 60,000 mile warranty with H and V speed rated sizes and a 70,000 mile warranty with T speed rated sizes.
The tire has great all weather traction and it grips the road well in dry, wet and winter weather conditions. This is made possible by the silica-based tread compound and the 3D Active Sipe Technology with the locking tread sipes which improve the tire's winter traction. The Aqua-Flume Technology helps eliminate water from below the footprint of the tire, effectively resisting hydroplaning in the process. The model becomes safer to use in all weather conditions thanks to these enhancements.
This tire model also offers a longer lasting tread life. With the 3D Active Sipe Technology the sipes are designed in such a way that they lock together and provide stability for the tread. This, along with the computer optimization of the tread, lengthen the life of the tread. The full-depth tread features on the tire maintain constant traction throughout the tire's lifetime, even when the tire is worn out.
The Equal TEnsion Containment, or ETEC, System used in the manufacture of the tire maintains the tire's shape while maneuvering with the optimal tire footprint shape. The shape of the tire at high speed cornering and driving does not deform, making the drive safer for the passengers of the vehicle. The tire's stability is further enhanced with the G-Wedge stabilized sidewall which boosts the tire's handling and promotes a comfortable driving experience.
The Advantage T/A Sport's optimized variable pitch tread pattern helps reduce the road noise heard in the cabin of the vehicle. The driving experience is quiet and more comfortable thanks to this feature.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
