I'm 5'5 and apple shaped with a rounder midsection. The length was just right for a mini dress. The dress hits about 3 inches above my knees. I ordered a size 22 and could have sized down so that the top of the dress fit closer to my body. It will need some alterations (all my clothes do these days), but this is a cute and stylish dress. There was some black from the sequins smudged on the white blouse, but it came out with some light dry brushing.

I wanted to love this so badly. I'm normally a 20-22 in sequins but something told me to get a 24. Even with sizing up, the dress is still ill fitting and extremely short. Also, I'm not a fan of how the shirt is sewn to the dress, it's done so in a manner that leaves little room for adjustment. If you have a bigger midsection consider the length before purchasing. I
