Targus Portable Stand with Integrated Dock

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Before I had this I would use a generic laptop mount and a USB-C-to-USB/HDMI bundle mess. The previous laptop stand would always fall apart and was just not functional. Every time I needed to remove my laptop it would fall apart. This thing is amazing and works right out of the box! The sleek low profile design makes this collapse for easy transportation. I sometimes work from home and sometimes go to the office and I can take this with me! Additionally, it has embedded USB hubs, HDMI and USB-C for power. The laptop doesn't slip due to the durable rubber stoppers. It has everything! I have less noise on my desk, my cords are organized, my laptop is mounted up properly and always charging. I highly recommend one of these!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am hybrid and work from home and the office. At both locations, I have a 2 monitor set up. This stand was very easy to set up. You take it out of the box, open up the stand and then lift the bars to the height you want. What differentiates this stand from most is that it is lightweight and simple in design BUT it has all these different ports you can use to connect to your monitors, etc. It took me a minute to figure out how to connect the stand to my monitors and then be able to use the other ports. Currently my monitors are connected to a docking station that uses a lightning port. I had to connect the docking station to my laptop and then use the USB-C port underneath to connect back to my docking station. That was the only way I could extend to all 3 screens. Once it connected to the docking station which powers the stand, I was free to use the USB A ports for my thumbdrive and mouse USB. This is incredibly helpful as I have tapped out all of the ports on my docking station and had to use the ports on my laptop. I used to have to unplug all USBs from my laptop each time I went into the office, now I don't need to. Its the little things that make me happy. This stand also prevents my laptop from overheating, which happens due to the softwares I use for work. I have had my battery expand in the past that had to be replaced on the laptop I currently use. This freed up space on my desk which leaves room for my personal laptop. Some would say, do you really need that many screens? I would say, absolutely! I love being able to quickly glance at my other screens to monitor my emails. Overall, I am a fan and recommend.
