How To Measure Dogs Size: Use a tape measure to find the following measurements in inches.
Chest Girth : Measure the circumference around the body at the biggest area just behind the front legs.
Neck : Measure the circumference around the neck where the collar sits.
Back Length : Measure from the collar at the neck to the tail bone. (Please note, that on larger sizes, the back length usually will not go right to the tail bone depending on the breed)
