Great boots!

I bought these boots 2 years ago because I am frequently in foundries, and these met all the needs I had - Met guard, high temp outsole, etc. etc. They've held up well and I'd like to buy another pair - but it appears that Avenger has dropped these boots from their lineup and are getting rid of them. I cannot find anything on the market comparable, so I'm not really sure what I'm going to purchase as my next set of boots. Foundry means HOT, and I've seen people melt their shoes just walking next to furnaces. It would be nice to not have my boots melt.

Bad fit

I ordered a wide size and even thou the boot is wide enough the steel toe is too narrow you can feel inside the boot the steel toe is at least 1/4 smaller on each side then the boot.they must use same steel toe for all size boots.

My apologies for your fit experience. I can assure you that the same toe cap is not used for all sizes. That said, some toe caps can feel roomier than others due to the shape of the toe. Consider a Lehigh Safety Shoes boot with a TS-100 toe cap, a Timberland PRO TiTAN style, or a Keen. All of these styles offer more room in the toe box area.
