Excellent, " clean" series

When visiting England, we went to Lacock where "Cranford" was filmed. The experience was like walking back in time 200 years. This producers of this series gave great thought to the period- correct architecture, transportation, everyday life and language used in that day, etc. We HIGHLY recommend the Cranford" series to others like we....who enjoy being able to choose what we wish to see rather than being at the mercy of satellite or cable television which pushes agendum we do not approve of. We choose instead to purchase clean, entertaining, historically correct drama! Thank you for carrying DVDs like this! We will be buying more of them!

Delightful Brit DVD Collection

"Cranford The Collection" is a real DVD treat especially for those who have enjoyed other Classic British Literature that has been made into film. Judi Dench is wonderful as "Miss Matty" and all the other actors give outstanding performances. The costumes and sets put you right in 1842 England. This is a great value because you get both "Cranford" and "Return to Cranford" together in a beautiful boxed set.
