Fits all universal 2.5" x 12" RO membrane housing.[CONTAMINENTS REMOVED] This RO membrane filter replacement is able to remove up to 99% of over 1,000 contaminants from your water, including lead (removes up to 98%), chlorine, fluoride, arsenic, asbestos, calcium, sodium (rejects up to 98% of salt) and more. 99% TDS removal.[EFFICIENT REVERSE OSMOSIS PROCESS] Reverse osmosis (RO) is a water purification process that removes ions, unwanted molecules, contaminants, and larger particles from drinking water using a partially permeable TFC membrane. As a result, the solute is kept on the membrane’s pressurized side and the pure solvent is allowed to pass to the other side, removing up to 99% of total dissolved solids (TDS).
- [PREMIUM MATERIAL] This RO filter membrane is made from thin film composite (TFC), a food-grade nanoscale polyethersulfone porous thin polyamide membrane consisting of multiple layers, structured to selectively filter out contaminants, essentially only allowing pure water to diffuse and pass through as permeate water. The high capacity material provides high packing density to remove contaminants, with the 0.0001 micron size.[HIGH QUALITY DESIGN] Long center stem and hole design for easy removal and replacement with tool. Gasket and o-rings to prevent rejection water contamination. Recovery rate up to 33%. with a minimum feed pressure of 60 psi.

Membrane is making a gallon in about 30 minutes, so it will easily make 50 gallons a day and our water pressure isn't very high. Of course here in our home we only use a couple gallons a day. I suspect it will last longer with our families light use and relatively good municipal water.
