Created 1939 July 19 Title from unverified caption data received with the Harris & Ewing Collection. Gift; Harris & Ewing, Inc. 1955. General information about the Harris & Ewing Collection is available at Rail head questioned on president's lending program. Washington, D.C., July 19. John J. Pelley, President of the Association of American Railroads, today made a brief appearance before the Senate Banking and Currency Committee now hearing witnesses on the President's lending program, 7/19/39 Glass negatives.
