Poorly designed, cheaply made

I bought this sofa protecting cat scratcher to protect the corner of my sofa that my cat enjoys scratching. It looked sturdy in the picture. When it arrived, I found that it was way to short to cover the height of my averaged sized sofa arm, it was flimsy, there was a hole in the fabric covering the particle board pieces, the only way provided to attach it to the sofa was twelve loops of woven ribbon stapled to the boards to ? nail? to the sofa. What? My beautiful sofa? The purpose of the sofa protector was to protect the sofa. Avoid this one.
