This is the only way to go as for mounting the Water Snake Trolling motor. I had to re shape the base to conform to my boats deck to allow the release pin to work properly. But that was an issue of where I was mounting it. This item is a must have. And it cost more than 50% less than any other brands. All hardware was included too. Could not be more happy.

I love it, when i ordered the quick release braket from walmart by accident, they sent 3 of these brackets, and i just ordered 1. So i called walmart and they took care of it, I dropped off the other 2 at a fedex and they took care of the rest it was so easy. man iwas givin both of my refunds back to my card within 10 business days. Wamrt ships realy fast i got my stuff in 2 days. I think walmart ships faster than amazon.
