Unreliable on my system (GA-71x mother board)

Adapter appears to work Ok at first at first, but subjects system to crashes at random intervals thereafter. Bios set to auto detect IDE connection PIO mode and UDMA- these are default settings for the BIOS (Award) Protruding "ears" prevented location in Master IDE slot- ( Interfears with smoothing capacitors on mother board) Had to use secondary IDE socket for test run to miss obstruction

Not so much

Just plain DOA. Returned for full credit, but a waste of time.
